Happy Halloween!

We went over to CJ and Kim’s again this year. They always have TONS of kids in their neighborhood. Our neighborhood is pretty much dead, so we try and get out for Halloween. It was fun. Evin was up, dressed as a skeleton, for pumpkin carving but had to hit the hay shortly after.

We love our little pumpkin family.

Today we welcomed our new little man into our life. His name is Edward Vincent Walsh V. We will call him Evin. The whole experience was amazing and we are amazed at how small and delicate he is. Here are his stats:

Well, I’m 38 weeks and ready to pop!! I dont think I can get much bigger… at least I hope I can’t. We’re putting the finishing touches on getting ready for little Munchkin… class taken, room ready, survival gear purchased… what else is there?

A Baby Shower

Today, Kim and my Mom threw me a baby shower. It was amazing. I had a ton of family and friends come out and it made me feel very loved. Rachel and Lisa flew out just for the occasion! Vince and I were extremely spoiled and can’t believe how giving everyone is being. It feels really great to have so many people surrounding us that love us. We really do feel lucky!!

A Munchkin is on the way…

We have some news! We’re expecting a little Munchkin at the end of August. Boy or girl we will not know… we just know it will be one or the other! YAY!

We heard the heart beat and doctors say that everything looks great! The official due date is August 28, 2008!!

A Honeymoon

We’ve spent the days after our wedding enjoying Kaua’i. It’s been short but awesome… we’ve been snorkeling, took a kayak trip up the river and hiked to a waterfall. We’ve really enjoyed learning about Kaua’i and all it has to offer. We have learned, however, that we are NOT planners (at least we confirmed this, anyway).

Surprise! Surprise! We tied the not. Yup. It’s true… we took a trip to Kaua’i, HI and eloped!

The ceremony was on the beach in the afternoon. Vince wore a tux and I wore a lace dress.

It was awesome…

Christmas ~ 12.07 ~ Nebraska

This year we went to Nebraska for Xmas!! We had a great time seeing everyone and getting some relaxation. We spent Xmas Eve at Liz and Shawn’s house with Maggie, Grace, EV, Susan, Jeanne, Aaron & Sarah. Christmas was quite at the house with Jeanne. We had a lovely dinner. We also got to see some snow!!

My 30th Birthday Adventure!

For my oh-so-exciting 30th birthday, Vince took me on a trip to Big Bear, California. We had a cute little cabin within the town. The weather was crazy… snow, ice, wind… but we had a good time. We weren’t sure we were going to make it over the mountain driving in the snow and ice. But our little, rented Chevy Aveo pulled through. Turns out, if you go 10 mph you can do anything!

The weather finally lifted on Sunday and we were able to head home. This is a stop we made to enjoy the view on our way back.
